Many of the fine readers of TalesAndTails.com are already aware that the Chief Editor went to her annual blogging conference, BlogPaws, last week. First she had a wonderful time and returned reinvigorated and ready to go for another year. The Chief Editor also returned with a award, Outstanding Blog Series, Search and Rescue Saturday.
I must say that she did a spectacular job accepting the award. Anyone there or watching the live feed online would have thought that she was rehearsed and ready to go with her acceptance speech. She rocked it.
The Chief Editor called later that night and stated that it was my turn. That brings me to the here and now. So here goes.
Search And Rescue Saturday was started two years ago in early in February 2014 as a small challenge from the Chief Editor. She was considering dropping one day’s post on TalesAndTails.com and I was not a fan of that idea. So, to assist “the cause,” the plan was devised for me to post on Saturday. Yada, yada, yada… I really want to thank you all, the readers of the blog. I’ve really enjoyed writing this blog series for you. I would also like to thank the Chief Editor for the challenge. Writing, spelling, and all that stuff is not my forte. Doing this has very much taken me out of my comfort zone and I’ve really learned so much about blogging, writing and SEO. Thank you all and here’s to another year.
Küster and I have a few ideas for the future of Search And Rescue Saturday. God willing we’ll be able to keep continuing our small attempt to expose more people to the world of SAR K-9’s.
