Search And Rescue Saturday — Küster’s New Ride

by Mr. Taleteller on

Well readers, it has finally happened.  Küster has a new ride.  After many years of riding to training and deployments in the old Buick, it was finally on its last leg.  Okay, if you actually know the car I am speaking of you would understand that it has always been on its last leg. Bought for $600.00 with, I forget how many miles, it was only supposed to a car that was to get us by for a little while.  Numerous years and now 220,000 miles later, we have retired it.

Something Old!

The new ride was bought from a family member who was reducing the cars in their garage.  It has air conditioning! Good gas mileage and all wheel drive.  Being a small SUV we did loose some storage space but Küster and I will make it work.  In fact, we were off training with SDONA (Search Dog Organization of North America) this week.  It’s a trial by fire.

First Road Trip!

Hope you could get everything in the newer car, without having to leave something vital behind, like Kuster:) LOL

Hope you have a lovely weekend. Sue, Polly & Honey

  2. Good luck with the training!

Good luck with the new vehicle and training. I’m sure there will be a learning curve to getting everything needed into the smaller space, but I’m sure you can do it.
