As we begin celebrating Christmas, I wanted to take a minute to tell everyone out there who’s reading that we wish you a merry and bright holiday, no matter what you celebrate, or don’t celebrate. Each and every person out there who reads the blog everyday is important and special to us. We may never meet in person, but I feel like I know many of you well and that we’re all friends here in our little corner of the internet.
This year, the holidays have been particularly stressful for me, and I feel like I lost focus for a little bit on what’s really important to me about the holidays. I will say that this is the last year I’m ordering gifts from Amazon because I don’t need the added stress of their failed delivery promises. The truth is, though, that the people those gifts are for really want my presence more than my presents, though, and regaining my perspective on that fact has made Christmas a lot more peaceful for me.
At this point, the hustle and bustle of preparation is over and it’s time to spend time with loved ones and celebrate what’s truly important. Whether you’re spending the holidays with family, friends or just your dog, I hope that you enjoy them. If you’re celebrating around the menorah, the Christmas tree or the Festivus pole, our wish for you is that you enjoy peace, love and joy. We send our thanks to you for sharing the journey with us and wish you the happiest of holidays!
