A Little Break

by Houndstooth on
Bunny here at the keyboard, writing to tell you that I gave my human a couple of days off from writing the blog.

We had a very rainy weekend here, and we didn’t get a chance to do much, which was okay with me.  My human is having surgery this week, so I was happy to just spend some time curled up together being comfortable.  We had some fun taking pictures that I think we might post later this week, but the humans had some social commitments this weekend and my human was a bit stressed out.  I told her I’d take care of writing a post for today, but really, I just wanted her to relax, enjoy her favorite shows and not worry.  We all need a little break every once in a while.

Life Is Ruff -- Tales and Tails

Nurse Bunny

There have been a few times I went in to the vet and I know my human spent the whole time I was there worrying.  I always thought that was silly, because I knew I’d be fine.  My vet knows what he’s doing.  Now that it’s my human going in and me staying awake, I realize that the worrying what you do when someone you love has surgery.  Even when your brain knows that everything will go off without a hitch, your heart still worries.

My human still has plans to get some blog posts up for the next few days, but if she doesn’t, don’t worry.  It probably just means that she’s sleeping off the anesthesia and that I’m busy keeping an eye on her.  I hear that after she recovers, she should start feeling better and be ready for a lot more adventure than we’ve been having recently.  So, keep your paws crossed for her and we’ll be back as soon as we can.
